I went through the drive-thru at the bank the other day, I had to
wait for the car in front of me to finish their banking business...then
I pulled up to the machine. I was at one of the outer islands where
you have to use the vaccum tube thing to get your stuff to the teller
at the window. My deposit slip was filled out, my check was signed,
I was ready. But I had to wait to send the stuff because there was
no tube there. Just a cavernous opening ready & waiting to assist
in my banking needs.
So I waited. I was watching the construction workers make this long
pole thing. There was a guy on the roof of the 5 story condos/apartments,
a guy on one of the middle floors, and a guy on the ground. They
were essentially fitting 3 pieces of piping together at 3 different
levels. I was fascinated, so I watched...plus I was waiting. Still
no tube thing. So I waited. Watched the construction guys some more.
Finally, the teller asked if "we were waiting for something",
implying that I wasn't on the ball. Oh no no no...As I opened my
mouth to say "there is no tube here!?" a woman appeared
in my driver's side window and was handing me the tube thing. She
apologized profusely because she had used it for her banking needs
and drove away with it! Who would've thought...
On another note I FINALLY posted part 2 of the most un-interesting
vacation photos ever in the Photo Gallery.
It appears as if we went to the wax museum and that's about it.
I must try harder to take better pictures, and more often!
